Jeremy Renner says melting snow outside home ‘brings hope’ after snowplow accident

Jeremy Renner is feeling positive during his continued recovery from his snowplow accident.

On Thursday, the actor, 52, shared that the snow is melting outside his Lake Tahoe home and is bringing him “hope.”

“This breakup brings HOPE… And a new entrance into my house seems… Right in front!?!?” Renner captioned an Instagram story of a cleared walkway leading to his front door.

Renner broke more than 30 bones in the crash, which occurred near his Nevada home on Jan. 1 avengers star was trying to save his nephew from being hit by the snowplow when the vehicle began to slide and crushed him, according to an accident report released by Nevada authorities and obtained by CNN.

After the accident, the Hawk eye star shared a series of updates about her recovery on her Instagram page. On Jan. 21, he posted a photo of himself undergoing physical therapy in bed.

“You are a champion friend! We love you,” said his avengers costar Chris Hemsworth in the comments.

“That’s a tough mf’er. Has anyone even checked the [snowplow]???,” MCU co-star Chris Evans joked in his own commentary.

In the meantime, Ant man star Paul Rudd recently shared an update about his friend and costar and revealed he spoke with Renner on Monday.

“I spoke to him yesterday; he’s fine,” Rudd said Entertainment tonight Tuesday. “He’s doing well. He’s the best guy and he’s great.”
