Jennifer Garner has a way Everything lovely – even cooking dinner. On Instagram, she opened up about her favorite cookbook Modern comfort food. It’s her weekend a boost — and she read it like a novel before diving into the actual cooking.
“Everything here is EXACTLY what you want to cook and exactly what you want to eat right now,” Garner said before giving us an episode of the Pretend Cooking Show that makes for the gram. She made Ina’s Crispy Chicken with Lemon Orzo and brought a surprise guest.
In the video, Jennifer demonstrates the recipe with Ina virtually looking over her shoulder, giving her hints and tips along the way. And as any good fangirl would, while Jennifer waits for the chicken to finish cooking, she finishes the Oreo chocolate ice cream recipe she pulled from the book, showing Ina the results. But she’s not her cooking trophies: Jennifer clearly can’t get enough of this book because she also brings out the frozen Paloma she made using Ina’s recipe. And there’s so much more to extract from this book – 85 recipes in all!
