(“Geotab”), a global leader in connected transportation solutions, today announced that it has joined the United Nations Global Compact (UN Global Compact) — a voluntary leadership platform for the development, implementation and dissemination of responsible business practices in the areas of human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption.
By joining the United Nations Global Compact, Geotab is committed to taking responsible corporate action and upholding universal sustainability principles. The United Nations Global Compact is a call to companies around the world to align business operations and strategies ten universally accepted principlesand to take responsible action in support of the goals and issues of the United Nations enshrined in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Launched in 2000, the United Nations Global Compact is the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world, with more than 15,000 companies and 3,000 non-commercial signatories based in over 160 countries and more than 70 local networks.
