Amy Robach and TJ Holmes appear to be inseparable during their new downtime.
Hours after ABC announced it had split from the GMA3 On Friday, the pair were seen smiling and hugging on a sidewalk in Los Angeles.
The pair were quite affectionate during the casual outing, holding hands and hugging each other, and at one point Robach, 49, leapt into Holmes’ arms and wrapped her legs around his waist.

Following an investigation into their relationship, ABC announced that Holmes, 45, and Robach would not be returning to their positions after “we all agree it’s best for everyone to drop by ABC News.”
“We recognize their talent and commitment over the years and are grateful for their contributions,” the spokesperson added. “A decision for the new co-hosts [of GMA3 and 20/20] will come later”.

A source previously told PEOPLE that the pair are “devastated” and “can’t believe this is happening to them.”

A source told PEOPLE at the time that there were “rumors that they were in a relationship about a year ago,” and another insider said the pair only dated after Robach split from the ex-husband Andrew Shue last year, and Holmes and wife Marilee Fiebig had filed for divorce.
